Born and raised in Los Angeles, Cameron was the son of a black father and a white Jewish mother, a mixture with which he used to joke about, he began to absorb from a very young age the dance, especially breakdance. He debuted with nine years in a horror movie. Two years later he starred with Adam Sandler in the comedy Grown Ups and his sequel, where he played one of Sandler's children.
His best known roles have been in the Disney Channel series Jessie (2011-2015). He played Luke Ross for 100 episodes, the mischievous son of a millionaire couple. From there he went on to demonstrate his talent as a dancer in the saga of television movies The Descendants, also by Disney.
Some speculations about the affliction that Cameron was suffering came to the tabloids and social networks. Affliction which remains - until now - a mystery, since the relatives of the young star have not provided more information.
According to the TMZ portal, Cameron suffered from epilepsy and was one of the characteristic attacks of that disease that lost his life; however, that version has not been confirmed.
The portal eOnline explained that his nervous system was affected and although he did not disclose the illness suffered by the actor, it was exposed on that website that the seizures he suffered "were so strong that Cameron lost consciousness, chronically affecting his brain and that's why they kept him under treatment. "
The cause of the death of the actor will be informed officially once the authorities have the results of the autopsy.
"An autopsy was performed today and the cause of death was postponed pending further investigation," the Los Angeles County Coroner's Department said in a statement Monday.
The same document indicated that Boyce was found unconscious at his home on Saturday afternoon and was pronounced dead at the scene after the authorities were called.
According to TMZ's information, his roommate found him unconscious and called the paramedics, who could not revive him. According to the version of that portal, the actor had been dealing with seizures caused by his epilepsy, which did not prevent him from doing his job.
Victor Boyce, father of Cameron, manifested himself in the midst of the tragedy he faces and posted a message on Twitter to thank for the support that his family has received.
"I am overwhelmed by the love and support our family has received, the truth is that it helps to alleviate the pain of this nightmare that I can not wake up in. I can not thank them enough."
