About NewsThat.Rocks
NewsThat.Rocks is creator news for people who are chronically online. We cover YouTubers, streamers, TikTokers, podcasters and influencers — the drama, the money, the platform changes and the moments everyone is sending to the group chat. We’ve been publishing since October 2026, for readers in the US.
What we do
- Fast catch-ups. Every story opens with “The tea”: the whole thing in three bullets, so you know what happened in ten seconds.
- Receipts, always. Every story links where it comes from: the creator’s own post or video, court records, platform statements and the outlets that reported it.
- Context, not just clips. Timelines, who said what and what happens next.
What we cover
Stories are filed in eight sections: Drama, Streamers, YouTube, TikTok, Money, Love, Viral and Platforms. Every creator we write about has a page that collects their stories, like MrBeast or Kai Cenat. New here? Start here.
How a story gets made
- We start from the primary evidence: the video, the post, the filing or the platform announcement. Two outlets repeating the same report count as one source.
- The label at the top tells you how solid it is: Confirmed, Developing, Allegations or Unconfirmed.
- When a story moves on, we update the same page, keep the original date and show when it was updated.
- The full rules are in our editorial standards. Fixes that change the meaning of a story are listed on the corrections page.
What we don’t do
- We don’t make things up, and we don’t present rumors as facts. When something is an allegation, we say so in the label at the top of the story.
- We don’t publish private information, leaked DMs about private people, home addresses or anything that puts someone at risk.
- We don’t cover minors’ personal lives. Ever.
- We don’t use fake or manipulated images of real people.
Who we are
NewsThat.Rocks is an independent US-focused publication edited by Ethan W. Canelli. Every story is checked against the sources linked at the bottom before it goes up.
