Jake Paul’s business empire, explained: MVP, Anti Fund, Betr and W
Beyond the ring, Paul runs a boxing promotion, a venture fund reportedly managing $180M, a betting app and a Walmart-stocked grooming line.
The tea in 3
- Paul co-founded Most Valuable Promotions in 2021 with Nakisa Bidarian; its first signing was Amanda Serrano.
- His venture firm Anti Fund reportedly closed a $100M growth fund in 2026, bringing assets under management to $180M.
- Betr raised $15M at a $375M valuation in March 2024; the grooming brand W launched with Walmart in June 2024.
Jake Paul’s fights get the headlines, but the bigger story might be the companies behind them. With Paul cleared to box again, here is what he actually owns and runs, based on Wikipedia’s summary of his career and reporting it cites.
MVP: the promotion company
Paul founded Most Valuable Promotions in 2021 with adviser Nakisa Bidarian. Its first signing was Amanda Serrano. In 2022, MVP co-promoted Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano with Matchroom Boxing, which Wikipedia calls the first women’s boxing match to headline Madison Square Garden. It won Fight of the Year from Sports Illustrated and Event of the Year from The Ring.
In 2023, MVP and DAZN launched “Most Valuable Prospects,” a non-pay-per-view series for up-and-coming boxers.
Anti Fund: the venture capital play
Paul co-founded Anti Fund in 2021 with Geoffrey Woo. Investments listed on his page include Simplebet (2021) and Anduril Industries (2022). Per The New York Times, as cited there, Anti Fund closed a $100 million growth fund in 2026, taking assets under management to $180 million.
Betr and W
Betr is a sports-media and mobile-betting company Paul founded in 2022 with Joey Levy. It raised $15 million in March 2024 at a $375 million valuation.
W is a men’s personal care brand launched in June 2024 with Walmart as its retail partner. It was incubated by Anti Fund and reportedly raised over $14 million, including from Naomi Osaka.
The biggest night
The business case for Paul’s boxing run is his Nov 2024 fight with Mike Tyson. Netflix streamed it, and Wikipedia says it produced the biggest boxing gate in US history outside of Las Vegas. Paul won by unanimous decision.
What it means now
Paul’s last fight was a knockout loss to Anthony Joshua in December 2025. ESPN reports he was cleared on Oct 8 and is aiming for a full return in early 2027. Because he co-founded the promotion that would stage that fight, he has a hand on both sides of the decision.
Creator boxing is now a business with a venture fund, a betting app and a retail partner attached. The valuations here are the ones reported in the sources, not audited figures.
