The tea in 3

  1. Jynxzi peaked at 417,711 concurrent Twitch viewers on May 11, his personal record, during his League of Legends tournament.
  2. Across all channels the event peaked at roughly 920,000 viewers, per Zero1 Gaming, and pushed him past 10 million followers.
  3. He scored two goals for Sidemen FC at Wembley in April and is nominated for Streamer of the Year.

Jynxzi is nominated for Streamer of the Year at the 2026 Streamer Awards, and his case rests on a big spring: a record-setting League of Legends tournament, a Wembley goal double and a chess win. Here is the year so far.

The tournament that broke his record

On May 11 Jynxzi ran a one-day League of Legends event with 40 streamers, with Riot Games promoting it and offering Twitch Drops. Zero1 Gaming reported a peak of roughly 920,000 viewers across more than 120 channels, and more than 4.7 million hours watched in under nine hours. Insider Gaming says that made it the fourth-most-watched League of Legends tournament of 2026 so far, ahead of the LEC and LCS.

Zero1 Gaming says his previous best was about 249,500, set in 2024 at a celebrity boxing event, so the record jumped by more than 168,000. Insider Gaming gave a lower event peak of 908,068, and quoted another tracker at 831,979 across Twitch and YouTube. Trackers disagree, so call it “around 900K.”

Who won

The final was Team Ray against Team Zoil. Ray captained a squad of xQc, Kingsman265, Sapnap and AloisNL, which took the best-of-three over a Zoil team that included Ludwig, ArrowCS, Pokelawls and Sneaky. Zero1 Gaming says Team Ray won 2-1, that xQc was named Finals MVP and that Jynxzi gifted 250 subs to each member of the winning team. Insider Gaming’s piece also calls Team Ray the winner in its headline but slips and names Team Zoil in one sentence, so we are going with Zero1 and the headline.

The rest of 2026

  1. Takes a break from Clash Royale over game updates.
  2. Wins PogChamps 6 7, an online amateur chess tournament, after being taught by GothamChess.
  3. Plays striker for Sidemen FC at the Sidemen Charity Match at Wembley, scores twice and is Man of the Match.
  4. Runs the League of Legends tournament.
  5. Hosts a Fortnite tournament with Twitch Drops; YouTubers Bazerk and Sizl win $20,000.
  6. Nominated for Streamer of the Year.

The big picture

Per Wikipedia, he has about 11.3 million Twitch followers and is the eighth most-subscribed Twitch streamer ever. Prediction market Kalshi gave him 22% for Streamer of the Year against IShowSpeed’s 66%, per Win.gg.

Why it matters

Riot putting its weight behind a streamer-run event, and viewers showing up in numbers that rival pro leagues, is the clearest sign yet that creators can out-draw esports on their own.
