Kyedae is back on Twitch this Tuesday, Oct 20, after 18 months away
She quit in April 2025 saying she was "kind of done." Now her bio says she's back, and she's hinted at more than Valorant.
The tea in 3
- Kyedae's X bio says "I’ll be back on Oct 20th on twitch," her first stream on her own channel since April 2025.
- She stepped away saying she was "kind of done" with streaming and felt "resentment toward it," per Dexerto.
- She told her sister she doesn't want to "just be doing Valorant" and has looked into NoPixel GTA RP.
Kyedae is coming back to Twitch on Tuesday, Oct 20. Her X bio now reads “I’ll be back on Oct 20th on twitch :)”, which would make it her first stream on her own channel in about 18 months.
Dexerto reported the date on Sep 28, after she updated several of her social bios. Before that, an Instagram story had only promised a return “very soon.”
How we got here
- Kyedae announces an indefinite break, saying she was “kind of done” with streaming and had started to feel a “resentment toward it,” per Dexerto.
- A fan asks on X if she’s coming back. Her answer: “no.”
- She confirms she and TenZ had been broken up for “quite some time.”
- Dexerto reports her social bios now carry the Oct 20 date.
- Back live on Twitch.
Wait, was she totally gone?
Not quite. During the break she still popped up in other streamers’ broadcasts and in YouTube videos with friends, Dexerto reports. She just hasn’t gone live on her own channel, even though she’d said she might go live “randomly.” She’s also back on Instagram, with her first grid post since December 2024.
Her X bio also still links straight to twitch.tv/Kyedae, so the platform isn’t changing.
What she might stream
Don’t expect a pure Valorant channel. Kyedae told her sister, Sakura Shymko, that “when I come back, I don’t want to just be doing Valorant,” per Dexerto.
The most interesting hint is GTA roleplay. Per Dexerto, Kyedae said she had “recently messaged somebody about getting into NoPixel,” the big GTA RP server that’s in its 5.0 era. Nothing is confirmed, so treat it as a maybe.
Yes, chat will ask. When the breakup news landed in February, TenZ asked fans to stop the “blind hate” aimed at her, according to Dexerto.
What happens next
The stream is set for Tuesday, Oct 20 at twitch.tv/kyedae. She hasn’t posted a start time in her bio, so keep notifications on. We’ll be watching what she plays first, and how many people show up to welcome her back.
