Pokimane now has her name on a Chipotle bowl. The Pokimane Pollo Asado and Steak Bowl, built around her go-to order, launched on Sept 28 and ran through Oct 12, available only through Chipotle’s digital ordering, according to GamesBeat. It was timed to the return of the chain’s pollo asado.

How the collab came together

Chipotle’s director of brand marketing, Scott Robinson, said the streamer is a longtime fan and the bowl “is a natural next chapter” after earlier work, including the “It’s Time For Real” national TV ad and the pollo asado launch.

Chris Mann of REVXP, the agency that runs Chipotle’s gaming strategy, said Pokimane briefly appeared in a Chipotle campaign roughly six to seven months ago alongside tennis player Taylor Fritz. His team then spent months working with her and her reps at WME to find the right moment.

The giveaway

Net Influencer reports a sweepstakes ran alongside the bowl. Under the official rules, Chipotle offered 20 free entrees, worth roughly $300 combined, to TikTok users who followed Pokimane and liked a designated post between Sept 28 and Oct 12. She picked the winners.

Not about sales

Chipotle’s Robinson said units sold aren’t the main measure; he pointed to social conversation in the gaming community and how many people try the order. “I think the highest priority, from what we’ve seen in the past, is more about general awareness and sentiment,” Mann, of agency REVXP, added.

Pokimane featured the bowl on stream and posted TikTok and Instagram content, which Mann said was outside her contractual obligations. GamesBeat says he described that as her over-delivering on the deal.

Her own caption on the sponsored post called it “a dream come true,” Net Influencer notes.

The bigger pattern

Net Influencer says it is Chipotle’s third high-profile creator collaboration in three months, after an August menu item with another creator and the September ad. In September the chain also released a national ad built entirely from footage shot by 100 creators in more than 50 restaurants, with no brand-shot footage. Chipotle is also in a marketing transition, with new executive Fernando Machado (GamesBeat calls him chief marketing officer; Net Influencer, chief brand officer), though Robinson said the Pokimane project predated his arrival.

Tubefilter put the bowl in its weekly roundup, joking that other creators with menu items “need to make some room in the burrito queue.”

What happens next

The bowl was a one-off and has ended. Robinson said Chipotle intends to keep working with digital and gaming creators who already have a genuine connection to the brand.
