Variety says it confirmed the booking with multiple sources. Still, the key word for now is “reportedly.” As of Oct 18, Complex wrote that “no official announcement has been made,” and NBC hasn’t put out a host announcement for that date.

SNL usually announces hosts on its own channels ahead of the episode, so watch for an official post from NBC, plus a musical guest, which nobody has reported yet. Until then, this is a strong report, not a done deal.
