The tea in 3

  1. Feastables did about $250M in sales and over $20M profit in 2024, per investor documents reported by Bloomberg and Fortune.
  2. The media side had similar sales but lost almost $80M; a PR agency's explainer gives different figures, so treat all as estimates.
  3. Beast Industries took $200M from BitMine in Jan 2026 and bought Step in Feb; Forbes says it's reportedly valued at $5B.

The biggest YouTuber on Earth made more money from chocolate than from videos in 2024. MrBeast’s Feastables brought in about $250 million that year and turned a profit, while his media business lost money, according to investor documents reported by Bloomberg and Fortune in March 2025.

Here’s how the machine works, and which numbers are solid and which are guesses.

The 2024 split

~$250MFeastables sales, 2024
$20M+Feastables profit
~$80Mmedia side loss

Those figures come from documents Beast Industries sent to potential investors, covering the first three quarters of 2024 plus estimates for the rest of the year, Fortune reported. The media business, which includes his YouTube channel and his Amazon Prime Video show, had sales similar to Feastables’ but lost almost $80 million. The company as a whole lost money three years in a row, including almost $60 million in 2024, per the same report.

The company’s leadership has framed it this way. Beast Industries CEO Jeffrey Housenbold called content and media “a marketing investment in everything else we do,” per Fortune. In other words, the videos are the ad and the snacks are the product.

Numbers that don’t match

Other outlets give slightly different versions. An explainer from a PR agency, Everything PR (last updated Oct 16), puts Feastables at about $225M revenue and about $20M profit for 2024, and the video side’s losses above $110M, without naming where those come from. We can’t tell which version is closer. Treat all of these as reported estimates, not audited results.

The same piece cites TIME, which we haven’t opened, as saying Beast Industries isn’t yet profitable overall, with roughly $500M in cumulative losses over five years, more than $100M cut from operating costs in 14 months, and a profit expected in 2026. We haven’t independently confirmed those numbers. Business Insider ran a July 10 story headlined “Internal MrBeast docs reveal a growth slowdown at his Feastables chocolate brand.”

What else is in the company

According to Forbes, Beast Industries manages his media work, Feastables and Lunchly, the analytics tool Viewstats, and toy and clothing licensing. Forbes lists his 2026 Top Creators earnings at $300 million, and says the company has reportedly taken venture money at a $5 billion valuation.

  1. Quartermast later reports a $200M investment from crypto firm BitMine Immersion Technologies.
  2. MrBeast announces Beast Industries is buying Step, a teen-focused banking app, per TechCrunch. Terms weren’t disclosed.
  3. Forbes’ Top Creators list puts MrBeast first at $300M.

Why buy a bank-style app?

TechCrunch says Step has raised half a billion dollars and has over 7 million users. Quartermast says the move lets Beast enter financial services without building from scratch in a heavily regulated field. MrBeast said in the announcement that “Nobody taught me about investing, building credit, or managing money when I was growing up,” per TechCrunch, which also noted that other ventures like Lunchly and MrBeast Burger “have struggled.”

The takeaway

Views are the marketing, products are the margin. That’s why so many creators are launching snacks and drinks instead of just getting more brand deals.

Where it stands

Beast Industries is private, so none of these figures are official. We’ll update if new filings or reporting change the picture.
