N3on announced an “AI streamer” version of himself that streams while he sleeps
He called it his "last stream as a human being," then told chat "it's not AI." Here's the actual setup.
The tea in 3
- On Sept 7, N3on announced what he called an "AI streamer" version of himself to keep his Kick channel live overnight.
- He credited GPT-6 Astra and Higgsfield, wrote "This is my last stream as a human being," then told chat "it's not AI."
- Dexerto notes his "first AI streamer" claim overlooks Neuro-sama (2022) and Kwebbelkop (2023).
Kick streamer N3on announced on Sept 7 what he called an AI streamer version of himself, meant to keep his channel running while he sleeps. His post credited GPT-6 Astra and Higgsfield as powering it, according to Dexerto and Complex.
What he said
He first wrote on X: “This is my last stream as a human being.” After viewers called him a sellout, he told chat: “First off, it’s not AI.” That is despite his announcement calling himself the “first Al streamer in the world.”
He also made clear he still plans to appear on his channel himself and keep doing daily livestreams.
Complex adds that N3on said he was “presented” with the opportunity and decided to “try it out,” and that he thinks “they’re working on fixing a few of the things.” He called the whole thing “innovative.”
His argument
If I’m not streaming, you guys have something to watch.— N3on, responding to chat, per Dexerto
Dexerto reports he argued another streamer would do it if he didn’t, and that he wanted to be first.
The “first” problem
N3on called himself the “first AI streamer in the world.” Dexerto points out earlier examples: AI VTuber Neuro-sama interacted with Twitch viewers in December 2022, and YouTuber Kwebbelkop was criticized in 2023 for introducing an AI counterpart for his gaming videos.
The Community Note
Complex reports his X post was flagged with a Community Note pointing out that AI streamers existed long before him, including Neuro-sama, active since December 2022.
The big platforms are still deciding how to treat this. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said in September that streamers substituting themselves with AI “just isn’t happening.” Kick, per GamesBeat, updated its guidelines in March to require strict AI disclosure.
Where it stands
Dexerto and Complex both report viewers in his chat called him a “sellout.” N3on said he is still streaming every day, and nothing in the reporting says the AI stream will replace his live shows.
What to watch
Two things are still unclear from the reporting: how the setup actually works, and how Kick’s disclosure rules apply to it. N3on’s framing has shifted between “last stream as a human being” and “not AI,” so check his channel for the current setup before drawing conclusions.
