The 2026 Sidemen Charity Match was the highest-scoring one yet. At Wembley Stadium on April 18 it finished 10-10, and YouTube All Stars won the shootout 4-1, per Wikipedia. The match raised over £6.2 million.

Where the money went

Wikipedia reports 86% went to Bright Side and 14% to M7 Education. Sports Illustrated’s preview named the same two charities.

20goals (an edition record)
£6.2M+raised
£14.7M+raised across all matches

How the totals have grown

  1. Over £110,000 at St Mary’s Stadium
  2. Over £1 million; Guinness record for a YouTube charity match, peaking at over 2.5 million viewers
  3. Over £2.4 million at London Stadium
  4. Wembley; Wikipedia gives both £4.5M and £4.7M
  5. Over £6.2 million at Wembley

The twist

KSI, Miniminter and Behzinga played for the YouTube All Stars, a first. SI quoted KSI saying the change makes the match a lot more competitive. SI’s squad list put streamers on both sides, including xQc, Jynxzi and Niko Omilana for Sidemen FC and Squeezie, Ibai and CarryMinati for the All Stars.

Moments

  • Referee Mark Clattenburg overturned an early Sidemen FC goal by Niko Omilana for offside.
  • Max Fosh was invited only six days before, after El Rubius dropped out.
  • Tinie Tempah did the halftime show.

SI’s preview noted that iShowSpeed and Logan Paul were on neither roster because they were at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas that night.

The scale of it

For context, the first match in 2016 raised over £110,000 for the Saints Foundation, so the 2026 total is roughly 56 times bigger, going by Wikipedia’s figures.

Wikipedia counts 2026 as the seventh edition of the match. SI’s preview called it the event’s 10th anniversary, since the first one was in 2016, and said last year’s match raised $6.4 million (£4.7 million), drew over 90,000 fans in person and reached about eight million viewers at home. That 2025 match ended 9-9, with iShowSpeed scoring the winning penalty, per SI.

The 2026 shootout kept the title with the All Stars, who therefore sit on back-to-back wins.

Context

KSI announced on May 31 that he was leaving the Sidemen, about six weeks after this match. No 2027 date has been announced in the sources we checked.
