TikTok’s October 2026 sounds: Ramalama costume reveals, girl in red and Jersey club

Two trend trackers, both run by software companies, disagree on the ranking, but the same Halloween songs keep showing up. Here is what is moving.

The tea in 3

  1. "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" by Róisín Murphy powers the "Did I Win This Trend?" costume reveal, per SocialPilot's Oct 12-25 list.
  2. girl in red's "we fell in love in october" sits at about 2M videos on SocialPilot's tracker.
  3. Revid's separate sample puts "Ramalama" among the most reused songs of the last 30 days, tied at 10 viral videos.

The most-used TikTok sounds in the second half of October 2026 are mostly Halloween-adjacent: a costume-reveal beat, a cozy-season indie song and a Jersey club track that keeps climbing. The SocialPilot list, from a social media software company, covers Oct 12-25; Revid, a video-tool company, updated its chart Oct 19. Both are vendor data, not TikTok’s own rankings.

One caveat up front: these trackers use different samples and don’t agree on a No. 1, so treat the rankings as a vibe check, not a leaderboard.

The sounds

2Mvideos, “we fell in love in october”
456.2Kvideos, “Ramalama (Bang Bang)”
260.5Kvideos, “Bounce it”

Per SocialPilot, “we fell in love in october” by girl in red is at peak. “Ramalama (Bang Bang)” by Róisín Murphy is also at peak and, per the tracker, runs through Oct 31. “Bounce it” by Biggs money is up from 157.5K videos on Oct 5. “DIP ON EM” by SouthMemphisHypeman jumped from 49.3K to 128.4K over the same stretch.

The formats

The named trends on SocialPilot’s list:

  • “Did I Win This Trend?”: reveal a finished costume on the drum drop in “Ramalama.”
  • 31 Days of Halloween: one numbered themed video a day through Oct 31.
  • “Find the Beat”: a Jersey club partner challenge where one person dances while the other tries to find the beat.
  • Halloween Porch Reveal: film the decorated porch, then cut to reactions.
  • TikTok Shop Black Friday Early Find: product demos before the deals launch.

Where the two lists disagree

Revid’s index of about 6,400 viral TikToks from the last 30 days says the most reused songs were “Zany Emote Fortnite” by CsCrafty and “Ramalama (Bang Bang)” by Róisín Murphy, at 10 viral videos each, followed by “Paper Moon Static” by Marnie Cusk at 8.

Its weekly chart, meanwhile, ranks a Chopin piano clip by RYOpianoforte first, then a slowed Jersey club track, then “Paper Moon Static,” all tied at three posts. Revid says its counts reflect its own sample of about 2.8K posts, not TikTok totals.

The overlap: “Ramalama (Bang Bang)” and the slowed Jersey club track “Wyw my sweetie” show up on both lists.

What to do with this

Why it matters

Sounds peak fast. If you’re making a costume video, the window on “Ramalama” is Halloween itself. For “Find the Beat,” you have slightly longer.
