Twitch records in 2026: Kai Cenat’s 1.1M subs and a subathon past 1,780 days
Kai Cenat still owns the biggest sub count ever. The longest subathon belongs to Emilycc, who had not stopped as of Dexerto's Oct 1 update.
The tea in 3
- Kai Cenat holds the most subs at one time: 1,112,947, reached during Mafiathon 3 in September 2025, per Dexerto.
- Emilycc holds the longest subathon and solo stream, past 1,780 days and still going on Dexerto's Oct 1 list.
- Sub records come from outlets, trackers and Twitch statements, so numbers can differ slightly between reports.
Twitch’s biggest records, as of early October 2026: Kai Cenat has the most subscribers any streamer has ever had at once, and Emilycc holds both the longest subathon and the longest solo stream. That is the picture in Dexerto’s records list, updated Oct 1.
One caveat up front: these records are tracked by outlets and trackers, and different reports sometimes give slightly different numbers. We stick to Dexerto’s table and flag where other reports differ.
Most subs at one time
Dexerto’s table only lists times the previous record was beaten, in order of size.
- Ninja: 269,154, without a subathon.
- Ludwig: 283,066.
- Kai Cenat: 306,621.
- Ironmouse: 326,252, a record Dexerto says Kai’s next subathon more than doubled.
- Kai: 728,535 at Mafiathon 2. CNBC, citing a Twitch spokesperson, put the end-of-subathon figure at nearly 727,700.
- Kai: 1,112,947 at Mafiathon 3. Teen Vogue reported he became the first user with over 1 million active subscribers on Sep 28, 2025.
Small gaps like that are normal between outlets.
Longest subathon
Dexerto’s table lists Emilycc at 1,785 days and says her stream has crossed the 4-year mark. Elsewhere the same article says 1,784 and 1,760, so we call it more than 1,780. Behind the top three: BashersHD at 768 days, Wardere at 616 and Kittspresso at 515.
Longest solo stream
Dexerto lists Emilycc again, with over 1,780 days of uninterrupted broadcasting. She passed GPHustla, who held the solo record at 634 days. StreamerHouse says it has broadcast continuously since 2013, but it is a group, so Dexerto does not count it as a solo record.
Why Kai’s number is hard to touch
According to Dexerto, the record has been taken off Kai only once, by Ironmouse, and he took it back during his next subathon. His last two subathons took it from 326,252 to 728,535 to 1,112,947, and the all-time best has yet to be beaten.
Any new Kai subathon would reset the conversation. He has not announced one in the sources we found.
